This product parody is epic! And that’s correct too. Felines such as tigers are obligatory carnivores. They need meat to be healthy. Cereals are actually not good for them.

Unfortunately, most modern cat and dog foods are now made mostly of grains with meat flavoring. We have also seen a rise in obesity, diabetes and cancer in cats and dogs since grains have been the base of pet food for carnivores.

This majorly cracked me up when I finally noticed it next to the image about the splenda franken-molecule.

Actually, when you examine the digestive system of a human we are omnivorous carnivores and not true omnivores as many believe….our digestive system is closer to a dog than a pig (pigs & bears are what I would call true omnivores because they have a well developed caecum) …..also our small / large intestine ratios are completely the opposite of a gorilla so contrary to what the vegetarian/vegan camp would like us to believe we are not made to eat twigs and leaves like a gorilla…..keep up the great work and hope to see more posts.

what you’re saying is true in every sense of scientific evidence, unfortunately, more people base their science on what they wish were true, rather than where the evidence truly points.

The difference in gut distribution, as you have accurately pointed out, alone strongly suggest a predominantly meat-eating species. completely opposite colon/small bowel ratios (I illustrated this in my article “The Planet That Went Ape”). Also in the article “Only one Mammal Survives On Low Fat Nutrition”.

The human has a very underdeveloped caecum, compared to all other apes, and a highly developed gall bladder (which is common to carnivores). One reason I ignore rat studies, when it comes to human diet, is because rats lack a gal bladder, signifying that they were not designed to eat much meat – so of course they develop disease when force fed meat.

There are different levels of omnivore. Some eat very little meat and some are required to eat a lot of meat. Man is an omnivore which requires much of our fat and protein to come from meat sources, because we cannot synthesize butyrate (a saturated fat) in our stomachs, (as gorillas do) so we must get that fat from our diet to reman healthy. There are many other reasons, such as vitamin B12 synthesis.

Animals with a large hind guts house the bacteria necessary to synthesize B12 and butyrate, humans do not. Humans also lack the absorption necessary within the hind gut to access what butyrate and B12 is manufactured. So, unless you are willing to eat your feces (as some animals do – gorillas do this) to obtain these vital nutrients – I would rather eat a steak than my own crap.

Oh YAYYY! I discovered your site over a year ago, and eagerly dove in. Then suddenly didn’t see any new postings at all, and quite frankly was very concerned that you weren’t doing well. I kept checking back, but no updates that I could find. I happened to click on Tony/Tory, since I just LOVE this, and here I see a post-reply dated recently! So just want to say THANK YOU for all your research, contributions, knowledge and wit. I went low-carb/high fat almost 2 years ago, and have never looked back. Have done LOTS of research, reading, studying. This changed my life. I am a 55 year young, lean, fit, athletic woman (road cycling is my passion), who was not much of that 2 years ago! (not horrible, but MUCH better now!)

And BTW, do you have any prints of Tony suitable for framing? I would happily purchase a hi-res image or hard print.

Very very best to you. I look forward to more updates/posts….

Thanks Mary for writing and for your concern for me. I have been overwhelmed at the amount of email and comments from my readers concerned about my health since I stopped publishing articles.

I have answered ever and all comments though and have continued writing, just haven’t taken the time to edit and publish them.

It has been a tough year for me. I lost two of my friends that I made in Jackson, who were receiving the same transplant as I. Both died from organ rejection, but I have had no difficulty there yet. But their deaths grieve me and continue to be a reminder of what may be in store for me. I am a Frankenstein project of sorts and will never be able to forget that, nor my friend’s misery as they died slowly and painfully as their immune system destroyed their organs.

Of the group of seven recipients in my group from 2010, I am the last survivor. I must be doing something right. I attribute this to my different diet and lifestyle and hope it continues.

Earlier this year I discovered a lump on my head while washing my hair. Under further investigation, it turned out to be a malignant tumor which had eaten through my skull within millimeters of my brain. It began putting pressure on the behavioral part of the brain and I began to behave strangely, violently – mostly out of extreme paranoia (didn’t even trust my wife or mother)

Once the tumor was shrunk by pin-point radiation, I became myself again – though I have a 4 cm hole through my skull. the worse news was that the tumor was a result of Multiple Myeloma, a rare blood cancer, which can dissolve bone and is found throughout the bone marrow of each bone. It was caught in a very early stage, so a light dose of chemo has placed it in remission.

Unfortunately, tumors also damaged three lower vertebrae, which leave me in great pain. With Aridia infusions, the vertebrae are beginning to heal as is the hole in my head shrinking. Getting cancer was always a risk of being on immunosuppression drugs for the transplant — doctors say I’m lucky, because it is usually Lymphoma (a much faster killing cancer – harder to fight).

Multiple Myeloma is considered an incurable form of cancer, so chances are good it will return some day, but no one knows, since it is in remission at this time and have been known to stay in remission for five to ten years – that is my hope. I hope my diet will prolong this onset, becuse death by Multiple Myeloma is a horrible one – bones start breaking easily and the kidneys eventually shut down from the overload of calcium from the dissolved bones.

In the meantime, I have decided to try to accomplish all the things I have ever wanted to do before I die. I will begin publishing again, but finishing building my ultimate dream studio had to come first (which was why I stopped publishing during it’s construction, which I am proud to say I did all by my self). That is now done, but I have music to record and animations to do – I will try to squeeze in articles in the meantime, because I still have a lot to say, no matter who it pisses off.

Thanks again for writing and for your concerns – thanks to all of you who have written with your concerns!

P.S. I will check to see how high of a resolution I originally made Tory. I’m afraid that the original JPG. is probably low, but the original file was done in a vector based medium (Flash Or Illustrator) Once I find that file, I will be glad to scale it up to any size that you wish. Please write me by using the contact page. (I made the stupid mistake of having my email address posted here. Had to remove it, because every robot spider zeroed in on it and I was flooded with tons of spam advertising. This is why I must use the contact page, which encrypts my email address. I apologize for the inconvenience and wished to save those, who I know are ill and awaiting transplants, the extra steps, but I cannot better answer your questions when I accidentally trash your email because it ends up buried in hundreds of advertisements for penis enlargement tablets and offerings on how I can get a Harvard degree online in 60 days. Again, I apologize, but will have to ask you to take the extra steps to use the contact page. Thank you.). to remind me and to give me a return address to send the file. I guess it will be too large for email and I will have to send it via an FTP client – many are free. Email me all the same, because I can be forgetful at times. Don’t worry about bothering me either – write?
